May 18 High Stakes Storytelling: True Stories That Matter

“Sage is hands-down the best storyteller I’ve ever seen, she’s the only other story coach that I will work with, and her storytelling show is AMAZING.” – Marsha Shandur: host, founder and producer of True Stories Told Live Toronto, and YesYesMarsha

Sage Tyrtle Presents: High Stakes – True Stories That Matter.

What is High Stakes Storytelling? A group of people listening to true stories – the kind with something enormous at risk. Curated by Sage Tyrtle.

Facebook Event

We’re meeting again on May 18, 2017.

The hilarious Marilla Wex (The Beaverton) joins us to tell a story that begins: “It’s Moscow, 1989, and three extraordinary things are about to happen to 19-year-old Marilla Wex…”

And then we are tremendously lucky to be able to hear Anna Kerz. Anna grew up in Toronto and has been telling stories on Toronto stages for thirty years, and she will regale us with her story from her childhood in the 1950s: “Sex and the Need to Know Method of Child Rearing. What your mother won’t tell you rumors, whispers and the other kids will.”
